Festival of Lights at Achilles 2018

​Please join us during Festival of Lights when we will have a variety of festivities taking place at Achilles, such as, open studio for the community to draw and sketch ballerinas from the wonderful Ballet Acadiana! Everyone is welcome! We will also have visiting artists making their artwork and live demonstrations as well as face painting and picture taking with Spider-Man! Yes, that's right, you can take your very own picture with Spider-Man at Achilles! Come join us for a fun community event and join in the good cheer! Complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Kid friendly. Free and open to the public from 5pm-9pm on Friday, November 30, 2018. We hope to see you all there. Cheers!

*Ballet Acadiana | Community Sketch & Draw- Everyone is welcome! You will have the wonderful opportunity to draw ballerinas from Ballet Acadiana! 
For all ages & drawing abilities, no experience required. 
We will have easels and drawing materials for you to use! 

*Encaustic Demonstrations, Open Studio | Exhibiting Artist & Demonstrator, Bonnie Camos 

*Meet artists, Lisa Trahan, Jessica Elizabeth Moore, and Jeromy L Young painting & drawing, printmaking

*Face Painting with Terree' Tisdale-Kwarteng

*Pictures with Spider-Man!

Achilles Print Studio, LLC is a Fine Art School & Gallery offering art classes, workshops, and lectures in multiple genres, such as printmaking, drawing, painting, and creative writing. We offer classes for all age groups and skill levels. Our mission is to foster arts education and creativity in Acadiana, by providing opportunities and resources for artists and writers to help enrich the community. We offer art classes and creative workshops every month as well as host exhibitions and lectures throughout the year. Our classes are taught by professional artists and writers who are experienced instructors. We strive for excellence in the arts and education here at Achilles.
